Buyer Protection Policy
Effective Date: March 2026
Cardarro provides a limited buyer protection system to help resolve certain issues that may occur during transactions on the platform.
This policy explains when buyers may open disputes and how disputes are handled.
1. Buyer Protection Window
After an order is marked delivered by the shipping carrier, a five (5) day buyer protection window begins.
During this time, buyers may open a dispute if there is a problem with the order.
If no dispute is opened during this period, the transaction is considered completed and seller funds become eligible for payout.
2. Eligible Disputes
Buyers may open a dispute for the following reasons:
Item Not Received
The buyer did not receive the item associated with the order.
Significantly Not As Described (SNAD)
The item received is materially different from the description or images shown in the listing.
Damaged in Transit
The item arrived damaged due to shipping.
Wrong Item Received
The buyer received an item that does not match the order.
Buyers may be required to provide supporting documentation, including photographs or other evidence, when submitting a dispute.
3. Disputes Not Covered
Buyer Protection does not cover:
- Buyer's remorse or change of mind
- Dissatisfaction with price after purchase
- Minor cosmetic differences visible in listing photos
- Issues reported after the buyer protection window expires
4. Dispute Process
When a dispute is opened:
- The buyer submits a dispute through the platform.
- The seller is notified and may respond.
- Cardarro reviews the information provided by both parties.
Cardarro may request additional evidence from either party before making a determination.
5. Resolution Outcomes
Depending on the circumstances, dispute resolution may include:
- A refund issued to the buyer
- Funds released to the seller
- Additional steps requested from either party to resolve the issue
Cardarro reserves the right to determine the appropriate resolution based on the available evidence.
6. Platform Authority
Cardarro reserves the right to make the final decision regarding disputes.
Users agree to cooperate with reasonable requests for information during the dispute process.
Failure to provide requested information may result in the dispute being resolved based on the available evidence.
7. Abuse of Buyer Protection
The Buyer Protection system is intended to protect legitimate transactions.
Cardarro may investigate and take action against users who abuse the dispute process or attempt to misuse buyer protections.
Enforcement actions may include account restrictions or suspension.
